UNREAL SOLUTIONS LTD

Ideas too sharp for template thinking.

We build digital products, experiences, and go-to-market systems for teams who are done with safe mediocrity — from Shelton Street, London.

Manifesto

Unreal is not reckless. Unreal is refusing to ship the obvious.

UNREAL SOLUTIONS LTD partners with founders, innovation leads, and brand teams who sense that their category has become visually and strategically interchangeable. We invent digital approaches that feel surprising in the first five seconds and inevitable by the fifth minute.

Based at 71-75 Shelton Street in London’s creative core, we operate like a hybrid of product studio, strategy cell, and experience lab. We prototype fast, argue honestly, and measure what matters — attention with intent, conversion with dignity, retention with delight.

We are allergic to buzzword theatre. “Disruption” means nothing if the checkout still breaks. Our work balances imaginative leaps with operational discipline so bold concepts survive contact with real users, real budgets, and real release calendars.

Offers

Five lanes. Zero generic filler.

01

Product invention sprints

Two to four week intensives that turn ambiguous opportunity into tested concepts, clickable prototypes, and a decision-ready narrative for leadership. We explore widely, kill weak ideas early, and leave you with something you can fund — or confidently abandon.

  • Opportunity framing and constraint mapping
  • Divergent concept territories with deliberate conflict
  • Interactive prototypes for stakeholder pressure-testing
  • Risk register and build-path recommendations
  • Pitch narrative for boards and investors
02

Experience systems

Websites and product surfaces that refuse wallpaper layouts. We design interaction languages, motion behaviours, and content architectures that make your brand physically feel different — while staying accessible, fast, and shippable.

  • Experience principles unique to your category stance
  • High-fidelity flows for acquisition and activation
  • Motion specs that clarify, never distract
  • Design-engineering pairing through build
  • Post-launch calibration against behaviour data
03

Narrative & go-to-market plays

A brilliant product with a dull story still loses. We craft launch narratives, campaign worlds, and sales enablement systems that carry a single sharp idea across web, product, and live moments.

  • Positioning that picks a fight with the category
  • Launch architectures for web and social
  • Demo and deck storytelling frameworks
  • Proof libraries (cases, metrics, metaphors)
  • Internal alignment workshops for GTM teams
04

Experiment engines

Growth without a hypothesis factory is guesswork with better fonts. We install experiment backlogs, ritualised reviews, and creative variants that learn weekly — protecting brand while hunting lift.

  • Hypothesis canon and prioritisation scoring
  • Variant design systems for rapid testing
  • Analytics definitions that leadership trusts
  • Kill criteria to stop zombie experiments
  • Capability coaching for in-house teams
05

Platform & venture builds

When the brief is “build the thing,” we assemble cross-disciplinary squads to ship MVPs and v1 platforms with taste intact. Architecture stays pragmatic; craft stays non-negotiable.

  • Technical discovery and stack recommendations
  • MVP scoping that protects the core magic
  • Delivery with designers embedded in the build
  • Launch readiness: performance, a11y, analytics
  • Handover packs for internal stewards

Method lab

How unreal work stays real enough to ship.

Provoke

We start by naming the category cliché you are accidentally repeating. Provocation creates space for original direction.

Diverge

Multiple concepts compete in public. Stakeholders feel trade-offs instead of debating imaginary middle grounds.

Pressure-test

Prototypes meet users, operators, and edge cases. Charm without feasibility is entertainment, not strategy.

Commit

One direction wins. We document why the others died so the decision does not reopen every Monday.

Weaponise

Design, narrative, and engineering align on a release plan with owners, metrics, and non-goals.

Learn loud

Post-launch, we celebrate evidence — including failures. Quiet learning is how mediocrity returns.

Hard beliefs

“Safe is the riskiest place in a crowded market.”
“Weird without usefulness is cosplay.”
“If everyone nods in the first meeting, the idea is probably dull.”
“Ship the sharp version. Polish the cowardly version later — or never.”

Proof narratives

Moments where unconventional choices paid rent.

Consumer app trapped in pastel sameness

A wellbeing product looked interchangeable with twelve competitors. We rebuilt the experience around a confrontationally calm interaction model — sparse screens, unexpected microcopy, motion that exhaled instead of bounced. Acquisition creatives finally had a visual truth to match. Retention cohorts stabilised because onboarding stopped promising carnival energy the product could not deliver.

B2B platform afraid of personality

“Enterprise” had become an excuse for beige. We introduced a bold narrative system and a denser, more confident product UI. Sales cycles shortened because demos felt memorable; buyers remembered the metaphor, not another feature grid.

Retail launch drowning in channel noise

Paid spend rose while brand memory fell. We created a single surreal campaign world, then enforced it across site, packaging films, and retail screens. Efficiency improved because recognition compounded instead of resetting every flight.

Internal innovation theatre

Workshops produced posters, not products. We installed a sprint machine with kill criteria and prototype budgets. Three concepts died loudly; one shipped. Culture shifted from celebrating ideation volume to celebrating decisions.

How we crew

Small teams, sharp roles, no passenger seats.

Strategy leads

Frame the fight, protect the thesis, and keep stakeholders from sanding the edges off the idea.

Experience inventors

Design interaction and visual systems that feel native to the concept — not bolted-on decoration.

Narrative architects

Turn positioning into language people can say out loud without cringing.

Build partners

Engineers who treat craft as part of delivery, not a phase that happens “after design is done.”

Signal board

Notes from the lab we keep pinning on the wall.

Category cosplay

Copying the visual leader guarantees you will always be second-hand. Study them to differ, not to clone.

Workshop inflation

More sticky notes are not more insight. Constrain time; expand honesty.

Motion budgets

Animate meaning. If it does not teach state or hierarchy, delete it.

Prototype courage

Pretty decks hide risk. Ugly interactive truths expose it early — that is a gift.

Metric vanity

Impressions without intent are applause from empty seats. Tie experiments to behaviour that pays.

Handoff debt

A concept that cannot be built as imagined was never finished. Specs are part of creativity.

FAQ

Before you send the wild brief.

Are you only a design studio?

No. Design is central, but we also run strategy, narrative, experimentation, and product build partnerships.

Do you take very early-stage ideas?

Yes — especially when the brief is fuzzy. Invention sprints exist for that fog.

Will you push back on our ideas?

Absolutely. Polite agreement is inexpensive and usually useless. We argue for the sharper path.

Can you work with our in-house team?

We prefer it. Embedded collaboration beats mysterious agency drops.

How do we start?
